    In a pan , heat strawberries and sugar till they come to a boil.

    Reduce heat and continue to cook .The mixture will bubble up and the bubbles will gradually settle down .

    The mixture will reduce and the strawberries will go soft and mushy .

  4. 4

    Add lemon zest and juice and cook for 5 more mins .

  5. 5

    Let it cool completely and store in a glass jar.

  6. 6

    Store in a fridge for up to 2 weeks

  7. 7

    Spread it on your bread and enjoy! You can also use it as a filling in cakes , cupcakes etc.
