Russian tea cakes from Russia
These tea cakes are actually cookies . They melt in your mouth when you bite into them and are a perfect snack with your evening tea or coffee. They are eggless and need very few ingredients.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 tbsp icing sugar ( you can more if you prefer them to be sweeter)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts ( almonds, walnuts)
- 1/2 cup icing sugar, for coating
Instructions

In a bowl, which together, butter, icing, sugar, and vanilla essence, till light and creamy.

To that, add all purpose, flour, and chop nuts..

Mix everything till you get a soft cookie dough.

Roll the cookie dough into balls and place on a baking sheet on a piece of parchment paper.

Bake at 175°C for 12 to 15 minutes.

Let the cookies cool completely and roll them in icing sugar.
