Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas*
  • 2 tbsp tahini**
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • if you do use canned chickpeas you can use 3/4 cup chickpeas. Soak overnight and cook in a cooker with 4 whistles till they are soft and mushy
  • To make tahini at home , blend together 1/2 cup sesame seeds and 1/2 tbsp flavourless oil till you get a smooth paste . It takes time to get smooth texture. And do not add water to this.

Instructions

    Add all the ingredients to a bake der/food processor.

    Blend till it’s smooth.

    Garnish with olive oil and paprika
