Ingredients
- 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas*
- 2 tbsp tahini**
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- if you do use canned chickpeas you can use 3/4 cup chickpeas. Soak overnight and cook in a cooker with 4 whistles till they are soft and mushy
- To make tahini at home , blend together 1/2 cup sesame seeds and 1/2 tbsp flavourless oil till you get a smooth paste . It takes time to get smooth texture. And do not add water to this.

Add all the ingredients to a bake der/food processor.

Blend till it’s smooth.
