
Apple Crumble
Winter is here and its time to enjoy some warm desserts. This apple crumble is simple and easy to make. If you havent tried it before , you are truly missing out!

Ingredients
- Apple layered:
- 2 apples, cubed
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp water
- Crumble layer:
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chilled butter, salted
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Bake at 200C for 25-30mins
- Serve with vanilla ice cream 馃崹

Instructions

Peel and cut apples into cubes in a saucepan.

Cook the apples along with some lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon powder and a splash of water.

Cook till the apples are tender and soft.

To make the crunchy crumble layer, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and some cold butter.

Mix this using your fingers till you get a sand-like consistency.

In a baking tray, add a layer of the apples that we just prepared.

Drop it up with a generous layer of the crumble and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 25 to 30 minutes.

Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla and enjoy.
